Ten years since the launch of the Transhipment Centre West

BULK TRANSHIPMENT SLOVAKIA, a.s. has commemorated ten years since the launch of the Transhipment Centre West on 3 December. On this day in 2009 iron ore was first reloaded from a wide-gauge wagon with  the help of a rotary tipper through a hopper and conveyor belt assembly directly into a wagon of normal gauge in Čierna nad Tisou. After months of preparation, especially in  the project phase, while selecting the suppliers of construction and completing technology issues it was gratifying that the proposed transhipment system had met all the expectations designated within the preparation of construction.
