The company BULK TRANSSHIPMENT SLOVAKIA, a.s. started operating in the railway transport sector since 2009. It is a licensed railway transport operator. The company has been granted a Uniform Safety Certificate valid on the territory of the Slovak Republic.

We own a fleet of motive power units with independent and dependent (AC and DC) tractive power:

  • 14 standard gauge (1,435 mm) DC electric Class 183motive power units with Co‘Co’ wheel configuration, continuous power of 2,790 kW and max. tractive force of 345 kN - for operations on Polish rail infrastructure.
  • 4 standard gauge (1,435 mm) DC electric HDV Class 131 motive power units  with Bo'Bo '- Bo'Bo', with configuration continuous power of 2240 2240 kW and max. tractive force of7 173.7 kN - for operations on the Slovak, Czech and Polish infrastructure.
  • 3 broad gauge (1,520 mm) diesel Class 770 and Class 771 motive power units with Co‘Co’ wheel configuration, continuous power of 993 kW and max. tractive force of 310 kN,
  • 4 standard gauge (1,435 mm) diesel Class 770 motivepower units with Co‘Co’ wheel configuration, continuous power of 993 kW and max. tractive force of 280 kN,
  • 5 standard gauge (1,435 mm) AC electric Class 240motive power unit with Bo‘Bo’ wheel configuration, continuous power of 3,080 kW and max. tractive force of 255 kN - for operations on Hungarian rail infrastructure.

Through our subsidiary Inter Cargo we carry out transportation and forwarding activities in Poland and through Lokorail, transport services within the territory of the Slovak and Czech Republic. Lokorail is the holder of the ISO 9001: 2008 certificate needed for the transport of trains and siding services. These companies provide transport services in regular and irregular freight rail transportation, similarly including that of dangerous commodities. HDVs are equipped with GPS position monitoring. If necessary, we have a mobile service as well as provide advisory consultancy services in the field of HDV repairs.
